Skowhegan Trunk or Treat is Oct. 24; businesses welcome to take part

SKOWHEGAN — Residents, businesses and community groups are encouraged to participate in a safe Trunk or Treat Halloween event for children from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24., at T&B’s Celebration Center, 414 Madison Ave.
Children will come in costume and travel from trunk to trunk in front of the hall for treats that will be handed out at each vehicle. Everyone is encouraged to decorate their trunk, and a prize will be given to the best decorated trunk. Trunk themes should be family-friendly.
The event is free of charge, but registration for those providing trunks is required, by clicking here. Registration is due by 5 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22.
All businesses with cars and trucks are welcome and must complete the registration form before the event. Business owners and employees do not need to come in costume (although strongly encouraged), however, all vehicles must be decorated, and can be displayed with business name. First, second and third Place awards will be determined by people’s choice.
