GARDINER — World Fish Migration Day is being celebrated through Oct. 24 at Waterfront Park with an outdoor community art exhibit.
The exhibit includes 18 art prints along Steamboat Trail designed by children in Cobbossee Watershed communities. The art cheerfully, creatively and poignantly highlights wishes for sea-run fish on the Kennebec River and Cobbosseecontee Stream.
The art was created by children who attended Upstream Wishes for Fishes workshops in 2019 at GAHS Art Extravaganza, Gardiner Library, Girl Scouts, Friends of Cobbossee Nature Camp or Gardiner River Festival.
World Fish Migration day is Saturday, Oct. 24.
