Central Maine Tech Night topic is resources for entrepreneurs, small businesses

WATERVILLE — A virtual Central Maine Tech Night on “Capital for Entrepreneurs and Small Business During COVID-19” will be held from 5 to 6 p.m. Thursday, May 14.

Jennifer Cummings, Finance Authority of Maine director of business programs, Christopher Roney, FAME general counsel, will be on the May 14 panel.
With expanded tax credit authority for 2020 to key loan programs that are available to Maine businesses and individuals/employees affected by COVID-19, they will provide an overview of programs, what needs they fit and why Maine’s Seed Tax Credit Program couldn’t have come at a better time for Maine’s startup community.
