Riverside Realty recognized for community service

RUMFORD — Riverside Realty was recognized at the River Valley Rotary Club’s annual holiday dinner Dec. 9 for its community service.
Jack Gaudette, Mexico town manager, a guest at the dinner, presented Riverside Realty owner and designated broker Roger Whitehouse with a Certificate of Business Recognition for the firm’s “positive influence and contribution” to the town of Mexico.
Riverside bought 36 American flags to be on display for Memorial Day and Labor Day in honor of local veterans, after Whitehouse found out the town could not afford the cost of the flags. Riverside also contributes to the town’s Night of Appreciation and provides support to the local Police Exploring Program, takes part in fundraising on behalf of the Mexico Fire Department, provides annual donations to Santa’s Helper and the local food pantry, provides stuffed toys to the local Med Care and donates to the Mexico Historical Society, and more.
