Topsham Public Library has kids events scheduled for end of December

TOPSHAM — The Topsham Public Library has some events for kids scheduled leading up to Christmas.
Library Legos will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 21. The library has giant bins full of Legos for older kids and Duplos available for younger kids upon request.
From 1:30 to 3 p.m. Monday, Dec. 23, the movie “Elf,” will be shown. The Christmas comey film tells the tale of a young orphan child, Buddy, who mistakenly crawls into Santa’s bag of gifts on Christmas Eve and is transported back to the North Pole and raised as an elf. Years later Buddy learns he is not really an elf and goes on a journey to New York City to find his true identity.
The movie is rated PG, which means recommended ages 7 and up, but all are welcome. Bring pillows and blankets for extra coziness. Popcorn will be served.
Drop In Coloring for Kids will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 24. Markers and coloring sheets will be available in the children’s area. Designed for ages 6 and up, but all children are welcome.
