Dirigo Region school groups hold food drive

The Dirigo Region Positive Cougar Club, school and education association recently held a food drive to benefit the food pantries in Canton, Carthage, Dixfield and Peru. Students collected more than 550 items to benefit local families in need. The drive was held for 10 days beginning Nov. 12, with a pick-up event held at TW Kelly Dirigo Middle School on the last day. The students were excited to give back to members of their communities in need this holiday season. From left.
