Rangeley Library new program delivers materials to patrons
RANGELEY — The Rangeley Public Library is starting a new program, delivering books to area residents who may have difficulty getting to the library.
Whether this is a temporary issue because of health, or trouble getting out because of weather, or a more long-term situation, the library will help. Up to twice a month, at mutually convenient times, materials will be delivered to the door of patrons, who may choose up to five of any items that may be checked out of the library, including books, magazines, DVDs or puzzles.
The catalog can be viewed online www.rangeleylibrary.org. The catalog is under the resources tab. Those who want to have items delivered can then call the libary at 207-864-5529 to ask that the items be delivered or let the staff know the types of materials they are interested in, and the staff will help select items.
Participants must have a current Rangeley Public Library account. Those who do not have a current account can get help from library staff signing up. This service is free for those living in Rangeley and surrounding plantations. For more information, call 207-864-5529.
