Kennebec Land Trust-inspired exhibit at Harlow opens Oct. 25

HALLOWELL — The Harlow, in partnership with the Kennebec Land Trust, will present presents “Art and the Land,” a juried group show celebrating the 30th anniversary of the land trust.
The exhibition will be on view Oct. 25 to Nov. 30, at The Harlow, 100 Water St.
A reception will be held 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25. It’s free and open to the public.
“Art and the Land” was the result of an open call for art responding to property owned by the land trust, and features 40 works by 25 local artists in a variety of styles and media.

The land trust works cooperatively with landowners and communities to conserve the forests, shorelands, field and wildlife that define central Maine.
