Topsham Public Library events for July scheduled

TOPSHAM — The Topsham Public Library has announced its upcoming events and programing schedule.
The library is hosting a series of moving screenings the last week of the month. The movies are free and popcorn will be served.
The schedule is “Blade Runner: The Final Cut,” 5:30 p.m. Thursday, July 25, rated R; family matinee “Treasure Planet,” 1 p.m. Saturday, July 27, rated PG; “Cowboy Bebop,” 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 30, rated R.
Also on the schedule to round out July are:
Galaxy Spray Painting, 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, July 20. The project will take place outdoors, be sure to dress for mess. For ages 11 and up. Rain date is Saturday, July 27. Registration Required. Call 725-1727 or email cyndi@topshamlibrary.org. Ages 11 & up. Teens attending arn three tickets toward this year’s summer reading raffle.
Board Game Night, 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 23. Family-friendly games will be available for drop-in play. Bring some friends and family and have some fun.
James R. Nelon, author, “Pursuing A Dream: A Wandering Executive’s Journeys into The Philippines,” 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 24. Books will be available for sale and signing.
Messy Art, 10 a.m., Friday, July 26. Experiment with different tools and techniques to create process-over-product art! Wear clothes that can get stained and painty. Designed for ages 4 and up, but all children are welcome with grownup help. Registration required.
Kids Drop-In Activities: Space, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Saturday, July 27,: Marshmallow constellations, moon rocks, moon painting, straw rockets and more. Designed for ages 4 and up, but open to all children with adult supervision.
