NORWAY — Jason Rosenberg has been named director of the Medical Surgical and Special Care Unit at Stephens Memorial Hospital.
Rosenberg anticipates completion of his master’s degree in nursing from the University of Phoenix in May. He comes to Stephens Memorial Hospital from St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center, in Lewiston, where he was director of Emergency Services and acute psychiatric.
His accomplishments include performance improvement projects with proven fall reduction outcomes, improved patient satisfaction and decreased readmissions. He is currently a nursing faculty-clinical instructor for St. Joseph’s College of Maine and the University of Southern Maine.
“Jason’s leadership as a nurse director, experience as a clinical instructor, and proven ability to engage staff will prove beneficial in his new role here at Stephens Memorial Hospital,” said Margaret Burns, chief nursing officer at Western Maine Health, in announcing his appointment.
Rosenberg resides in Bethel and is chairman on the board of directors for Oxford County Mental Health Services.
