The Lawrence High School Bulldogs boys basketball team, of Fairfield, captured the Class A North Championship recently, defeating Skowhegan 47-40. Lawrence improved to 13-8 and is headed to the Class A state championship game — for the first time since 1999 — scheduled for 7:45 p.m. Friday, March 1, the Augusta Civic Center The Bulldogs will be taking on the Greely High School Rangers, of from Cumberland.
