Norway library’s Blind Date with a Book has a new twist

NORWAY — There is a new twist this year on the Norway Public Library February reading program that introduces readers to new titles, authors and genres.
For the past several years, patrons have enjoyed Blind Date with a Book during February, which allows patrons to check out a wrapped book with only a few clues written on it to entice them to borrow.

This year, patrons are invited to enjoy a twist on with You Had Me at Hello.
Patrons may select a book from the display, based only on the first line, written on the front of the wrapped book, read at least 50 pages, and kiss and tell by filling out an entry form to let the librarians know what they thought of the book.
All entries are due by 5 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 28, for a chance to win a box of chocolates. The drawing will be held Friday, March 1, and the winner will be notified by telephone.
For more information, call 207-743-5309, ext. 1, or visit the library’s website at www.norway.lib.me.us
The library is at 258 Main St.
