CNA course offered through Maine SAD 52

TURNER — A course providing the skills and experiences necessary to become a Maine state certified nursing assistant will be offered by Maine School Administrative Disctrict 52, in a collaboration with Androscoggin County adult education programs.

The course will be offered at a reduced rate.
Skills will be introduced in an interactive classroom setting with a two-week clinical experience to follow. Focus is on nursing theory and application, basic anatomy, physiology and clinical performance. An introduction to several employers within the region is also a plus. Only completed applications can be considered.
The regional program will be held Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 4 to 8:30 p.m. beginning Feb. 5; collaboration with Genesis Healthcare Partnership will be held 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays, beginning March 7.
