WATERVILLE – Maine author Earl Smith will read from his recently published book, “Water Village – The Story of Waterville, Maine,” from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, at the Waterville Opera House, 1 Common St.
The evening will commence in the foyer at Waterville City Hall, where light refreshments and appetizers representing the diverse culture of the city will be served.
Books will be available for purchase. A book reading by Smith will follow at the Waterville Opera House, and he will be available to sign books at the end of the evening. Smith is a former dean at Colby College and lives in Belgrade.
The event is being co-sponsored by the Mid-Maine Chamber of Commerce.
