PARIS — Paris Public Library’s Novel Idea Book Club will discuss “Refugee” by Alan Glatz at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 21.
“Refugee” tracks three families’ necessary flights from their treacherous motherlands — Cuba, Germany and Syria. Each story includes a journey beginning in a motherland, events during the escape, and the consequences met upon arriving at destinations.
