NORTH ANSON — Carrabec High School principal Timothy Richards has announced honor parts for the Class of 2018.
Valedictorian is Katrina Mason, and salutatorian is Emilee Fortier.
Mason is a quiet leader, Richards said. With a grade point average of 102.71, she has completed eight advanced placement classes and all the honors classes that would fit in her schedule.
“She will be successful in any endeavor she chooses to pursue,” said Richards.
She will attend Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, N.Y., where she is enrolled in the biomedical engineering program. She is the daughter of Richard and Marie Mason of Anson.
Fortier “is very bright and successful,” according to Richards.
She attained a 101.53 grade point average, completing eight advanced placement classes as well.
“She will be an asset to any organization she chooses,” Richards said.
Fortier will also attend Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and is enrolled in the materials engineering program. She is the daughter of Irene Bolduc and Lee Fortier, both of North Anson.
Carrabec’s graduation will be 7 p.m. Friday, June 8, the Carrabec High School Gymnasium, 160 North Main St.
