GARDINER — Maine School Administrative District 11 Adult Education is holding a class about how to create a more resilient, beautiful lawn without relying on chemical fertilizers and weed and bug killers.
This class is 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 16, in the Gardiner Area High School ATM room.
Strategies for building healthy soil to grow a beautiful lawn will be discussed.
Class topics will include fertilizing, controlling weeds and thatch, renovating poor lawns, transitioning to organic care and more.
Instructor Kat Munson is the education and outreach coordinator for the Cumberland County Soil and Water Conservation District.
