NORWAY — Oxford Hills SCORE will hold two free small business workshops May 16, one in Norway and one in Bridgton.
“Roundtable: Branding and Trademarking: Legal Considerations,” will be held from 7:45 to 9 a.m. Wednesday, May 16, at the Norway Town Office conference room.
The roundtable will discuss the federal trademarking process and other important legal factors to consider when naming and branding a business. It is sponsored by Community Concepts Finance Corporation.
“Creating Powerful Video Content for Social Media” will be held from 9 a.m. to noon at the Maine Science Lakes Center, 51 Willett Road, Bridgton. Video is one of the most effective storytelling tools, and social media audiences love it. The workshop provides ways to give the audience the best video experience possible so they are engaged, entertained, and moved to share it. Covered will be the basic guidelines of video creation for Facebook, YouTube and Instagram. The workshop is sponsored by Norway Savings Bank.
