Sandra Fickett, owner of Tilton’s Market of Buckfield, is presented her Oxford Hills Chamber of Commerce Rising Star Award at the chamber’s annual dinner last month, by Glen Holmes, president of Community Concepts Finance Corporation, which provided help and support to Fickett. A retired teacher who sought a new career, Fickett has turned the store, which she bought in 2014, into a hub of information, support and source of good food to the town, the chamber said.
