GARDINER — Smith-Wiley American Legion Post 4 is seeking participants for this year’s Memorial Day parade, which will be held on Monday, May 28.
The parade will form behind the Gardiner Armory on Brunswick Avenue at 9 a.m. Step-off is planned for 10 a.m., with the parade concluding at Gardiner Common with a closing ceremony, including speakers and band performances.
The Legion will hold a light lunch at the end of the ceremony back at the post, 46 Griffin St., with community members invited to attend.
