Hoisington & Bean is Oxford Hills chamber January business of the month

SOUTH PARIS — Hoisington & Bean PA is the Oxford Hills Chamber of Commerce January Business of the Month.
David Hoisington and Lance Bean have more than 50 years of experience between them in public accounting. The long-standing business, at 223 Main St., Norway, works with several local municipalities on financial issues and, according to Mike Grass, a West Paris selectman and Oxford Hills Chamber membership committee member, the pair can explain complicated financial issues and budget reports in a way that people can understand.

The chamber’s Business of the Month program is designed to raise awareness and celebrate member achievements. Each month, the chamber makes a charitable donation on behalf of the Business of the Month to the Feeding Oxford Hills initiative or Rightstart’s Christmas for Kids and Teens programs. The donation is based on at least 20 percent of the net proceeds raised during the Festival of Trees event. The January donation of $175 will be given to Feeding Oxford Hills.
Anyone in the community can nominate a business or organization through the chamber’s website, oxfordhillsmaine.com. More information on the program can also be found on the website.
