Patrons of Lisa’s Restaurant, on Bangor Avenue in Augusta, wore hats owner Lisa Wardwell has collected throughout the years as a salute to the holiday season.Traditionally, the hats come out on Dec. 1 and are worn by patrons and staff through Dec. 25, she said, adding, “On Dec. 26, I always wear the same hat; it says, ‘Tis the season to be broke.'” Wardwell has owned the restaurant for 12 years, starting as an employee 18 years ago.
