Gardiner Adult Ed to host wild game cooking book authors

GARDINER — Maine School Administrative District 11 Adult Education will host authors Carole Dyer and Judy Marsh, who will talk about their cookbook, “The Maine Way,” from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 4, at Gardiner Area High School.
The cookbook was first published in 1978 and is in its third edition.

The book is a guide for game cooking using ingredients commonly found in the average kitchen. Along with taste-testing corned moose or deer roast, moose meatballs, and Hungarian grouse, the presentation will discuss proper care and preparation, as well as time for questions. Books will be available for purchase. To register, visit www.msad11.maineadulted.org and search “wild game cooking.” For more information, call Gardiner Adult Education at 207-582-3774.
