BUSINESS PROFILE: Edward Jones adviser Fuller focuses on long-term goals

GRAY — Edward Jones financial adviser Karen Fuller has a primary goal — to help individual investors develop an investment strategy geared toward their unique long-term goals.
“Whether you need to save for a child’s college education, reduce taxes or plan for retirement, I can help,” said Fuller, who works out of the Gray office of Edward Jones. “At Edward Jones, every strategy we offer and every solution we recommend is based on what’s most important to you. Once we understand your priorities, we can help you identify specific financial goals and develop strategies to help you work toward achieving them.”

Fuller is a summa cum laude graduate of the University of Central Florida, with a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in business. She joined Edward Jones in 2006, opening the firm’s first Gray branch office. Before she joined the financial services firm, she was a business owner, a bookkeeper and a pharmaceutical representative.
“I came to Edward Jones because I wanted to help individual investors work toward achieving their financial goals,” she said. “As part of the Edward Jones firm, I have served as a trainer for new financial advisors and as an active member of my communities.” She’s been on the board of directors for the National Kidney Foundation, Fiddlehead School of Arts and Science, the International Optimist Club, and was ambassador chairman for the board of directors for the Sebago Lakes Chamber of Commerce.
She says, however, that her most gratifying role is that of a wife to her husband, Jonathan, and mother of Laura.
“Relationships are key, and in our view, meeting face to face builds strong relationships,” she said. At Edward Jones, “We meet when it’s convenient for our clients because we recognize the challenging needs of their businesses and their lives.
She said she and her branch office administrator, Katie Sanborn, “are dedicated to providing you with the highest level of service possible. As a close working team, our main focus is always on you, our neighbor, our family, our friend.”
