BUSINESS PROFILE: Community Sports, caring for the Bethel community

Jul. 132017

BETHEL — Located upstairs at Philbrook Place, 162 Main St., Community Sports carries a huge inventory of quality, gently-used sports gear for children, teens and adults. Clothing and equipment that may have otherwise ended up being thrown away is recycled, reused and put to good use by the next recreational sports enthusiasts, families and their children.

Community Sports carries pre-owned and often new items acquired from its many loyal consignors. The shop is open year round, seven days a week, and it currently offers a nice selection of winter sports gear at rock-bottom prices. You’ll also find quality, clean and affordable gear for the summer, too, and many name brands to choose from. There are even some vintage collectibles as well as new swim suits and dance wear for sale year round.
Community Sports is currently accepting summer consignments. Consignors are paid monthly and may receive a check payment or store credit once their goods are sold. For more information and to see pictures of the vast array of clothing and equipment, find Community Sports on Facebook or stop by and see what treasures are in store for you.
