Waterville Public Library teen summer reading program to kick off June 17

WATERVILLE — The Waterville Public Library will kick off its teen summer reading progam from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 17, in the Bartlett Room for Teens.

Participants can pick up their reading punch cards and enjoy games, crafts, and snacks. Completed punch cards may be redeemed for a chance to win prizes during the summer.

The library also will host a variety of programs for teens on Tuesday afternoons through July (the week of July 4, the program is on a Thursday), including Design Your Own T-Shirts, June 20; Candy Wrapper Creations, June 27; Repuroposed Soda Tab Projects, Thursday, July 6; Recycled Book Art, July 11; Make Your Own Paper, July 18; Create a Notebook, July 25.

Programs are from 2 to 3 p.m. All programs, including the reading program, are free of charge, and open to participants 18 and younger.
