AUGUSTA – Local author Maureen Milliken will visit Lithgow Public Library for a discussion of her newest book in the Bernie O’Dea mystery series, “No News is Bad News,” at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 16.
Milliken is a former journalist, most recently as city editor of the Morning Sentinel in Waterville, and before that as news editor for the Sentinel and Kennebec Journal in Augusta, where she grew up. She has more than 30 years under her belt at daily newspapers in Maine, New Hampshire and Massachusetts, and now devotes her time to mystery writing. She recently temporarily relocated to southern Maine after residing in Belgrade.
Books will be available for purchase and signing at the event. This program, which is free and open to the public, will be held in Community Room.
