RANDOLPH — A veggie and stir-fry dinner was enjoyed recently by 12 families at T.C. Hamlin Elementary School, part of an effort to encourage healthy family cooking and eating.
Kids and parents were joined by school teachers and staff at the April 3 event, as well as community partners Rachael Reynolds of SNAP-Ed and Jada Wensman of FoodCorps at Healthy Communities of the Capital Area. It was the second Family Cooking Night of the year at the school. Sponsored by The Kids Cook Monday, the event was designed to bring families together for a night of cooking and learning, and to inspire family cooking nights at home.
