Alex the Jester to perform at Johnson Hall April 1

GARDINER — Alex the Jester will perform his family-friendly show at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, April 1, at Johnson Hall Performing Arts Center on Water Street.
The humor of Alex the Jester, who doesn’t speak, is multi-layered — while parents are enjoying watching the fool pine for love, their kids are cracking up at the sight gags, according to a news release from Johnson Hall.
Alex, brought to life by Alex Feldmen, involves the audience, not only in egging him on and cheering, but in assisting him with his pranks (when the spirit moves them), the release said.
Doors open at 7 p.m.. Tickets are $8 for adults, and $5 for youth and are available at Johnson Hall’s box office from noon to 3 p.m Monday through Wednesday and Friday or by calling 582-7144 or visiting www.johnsonhall.org.
