NORWAY — Members of the Norway-Paris Kiwanis Club once again invite both young and old to their annual Dr. Seuss Breakfast & Children’s Book Fair to meet the Cat in the Hat and his friends.
The event is from 8 to 11 a.m. March 18 in the Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School Culinary Arts dining room.
Kiwanis members will be serving pancakes, French toast, eggs, sausage, hash browns, coffee and juice.
The cost is $6, free for kids 12 and under.
In partnership with Right Start and Read Across America, each child will receive a new book and is encouraged to bring some outgrown books to swap for other used books.
In addition, each child will be entered in a drawing to win a new sled donated by Paricon Inc.
Noted children’s author Henry Hamilton will also be in attendance to talk about and read excerpts from his books in the “reading corner.”
