This is where the difference begins. Who expects to stop at a five-and-dime store to get gas and in the blink of an eye experiences a pizza-and-sub shop that makes food that tastes like you are in Philadelphia or South Jersey? In the back of the Kenoco market on 363 Western Avenue in Augusta is a pizza-and-sub shop that serves authentic Philadelphia, South Jersey pizzas and subs.
Until now anyone who has lived in the greater Augusta area has to go to Philly to experience this unbelievably delicious food. GOODFELLAS Philly Cheese Steak sub is the real deal and is made with fresh Angus meat. The Steak Bomb weighs over a pound when delivered to the counter and the Golden Gibroni has chicken tossed in a house gold sauce that will leave you coming back for more.
The maestro behind all this is Bob Greene, born and bred in South Jersey. He’s been tossing pies for 40 years. He started in his full-fledged Italian family-style restaurant at the age of 12 and has perfected the art of pizza making.
