TOPSHAM — Central Maine Orthopaedics, a division of Spectrum Medical Group, and the Orthopaedic Institute of Central Maine will host a free community seminar focused on total joint replacement from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29, at Topsham Family Medicine, 4 Horton Place, Suite 101. The discussion will be led by orthopaedic surgeon Jeffrey L. Bush, MD, and will cover how the procedure is done, what to expect and when to call your physician.
Bush is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon who practices with Central Maine Orthopaedics in Auburn and is the current medical director of the Orthopaedic Institute of Central Maine. He specializes in hip and knee replacement surgery and arthroscopy, performing surgeries at OICM.
Bush has been with CMO since 2006 and works alongside his brother, Matthew Bush, also a CMO physician, to carry on the family tradition as third-generation orthopaedic surgeons.
