Dirty Bristles Chimney Sweep, Inc., serves the Lakes Region area and many towns in the Cumberland, Oxford and Androscoggin counties of Maine. Dirty Bristles’ website has a complete list of towns they service. If your town is not listed, please call them, and they will gladly make an appointment and travel to you.
Dirty Bristles Chimney Sweep, Inc., also provides installation of wood, gas and pellet stoves. A site visit and complete estimate of the project will be given to the homeowner and agreed upon before any work is done. That site visit and estimate will protect you as the homeowner, so there are no surprises on the day of the installation. Other services they provide include stainless steel liners, chimney caps and top mounted dampers. Dirty Bristles welcomes you to call if you have any questions.
More than 25,000 chimney fires account for millions of dollars in damage to property every year; tragically, lives are lost. A clean chimney will not burst into flame. Compromised liners or structural problems can allow high temperatures, sparks and embers to escape into combustible walls, roofs or attics. Therefore, proper care and regular cleanings are necessary to ensure the safety of your family and your home.
