Author Vietze is Bailey Library guest March 22

WINTHROP – Author Andrew Vietze, “This Wild Land,” will be the speaker at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 22, at Bailey Library, 39 Bowdoin St.
Vietze’s latest book is an account of his adventures as a ranger at Baxter State Park. He is also the author of “Boon Island,” winner of the Independent Publisher Book Award in 2013, and a dozen other books.
He spent 18 years as a park ranger after a career as an editor and writer, including a term as managing editor of Down East magazine.
