CMH employees wear red in recognition of American Heart Month

Feb. 222023

LEWISTON – Central Maine Healthcare team members marked National Wear Red Day Feb. 3, to help raise awareness and eradicate heart disease among women, part of American Heart Month.
The event was part of February’s American Heart Month activities, organized by the Central Maine Heart and Vascular Institute.
Team members continued to wear red on every Friday in February, and that included Dr. Eddy, CMH’s mascot.
CMH also hosted a booth across from the Central Maine Medical Center coffee shop from 10 a.m. to noon every Friday during February so visitors could learn about heart health topics, including CPR, nutrition, blood pressure checks and exercise and mental health.
