BRUNSWICK – The Merrymeeting Chapter of Maine Audubon is offering scholarships to four University of Maine 4H camps for the summer.
Scholarships from the Chuck Huntington Foundation are awarded to up to 30 elementary-age students, teens and teachers to attend camps at Bryant Pond, Tanglewood in Lincolnville, Blueberry Cove in St. George and Greenland Point in Princeton. In 2022, 25 scholarships were awarded.
The scholarships are available to students and teachers in the society’s coverage area, which comprises Arrowsic, Bath, Boothbay, Boothbay Harbor, Bowdoin, Bowdoinham, Brunswick, Dresden, Durham, Freeport, Georgetown, Harpswell, Lisbon, Litchfield, Phippsburg, Pownal, Richmond, Southport, Topsham, West Bath, Westport Island, Wiscasset and Woolwich.
Application forms will be available through scholarship area schools and on the Merrymeeting Audubon website by the end of January or beginning of February.
