Pejepscot Genealogical Society Dec. 11 topic is ‘French connection’

BRUNSWICK — The Pejepscot Genealogical Society December topic will be “The French Connection: The Ancestors and Descendants of Daniel Thibodeau and Rebecca Jandreau,” at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 11, in the Morrell Meeting Room, Curtis Memorial Library, 23 Pleasant St.
The meeting is free and open to the public.
Caribou native and genealogist Dana Murch will discuss the life and times of the Acadian and Quebecois families he researched for his recent book on the genealogy and family connections of his maternal grandparents, who were both natives of St. Francis. His book, published in January 2020, also includes a selected history of Maine and New France (including Acadia) from 1604 to 1850, as well as a chronology of the arrival of all immigrant ancestors.
