HALLOWELL — The city’s Memorial Day commemoration will begin at 10 a.m. with a service conducted by Goodrich-Calwell American Legion Post 6 at the north end of Hallowell Cemetery, on Water Street.
The Hall-Dale High School band and several singers will perform. Guest speaker will be Mayor George LaPointe.
There were be a social exchange and refreshments at the post, 114 Second St., following the service.
