BRUNSWICK — Midcoast Senior College’s annual Summer Wisdom lecture series begins June 1, and will be held via Zoom.
This year’s topics are “Samoset and Indigenous-European Interactions at the Beginning of the 17th Century,” “The Disabled Ship: A Cautionary Tale About New England’s Twin Plagues,” “The Underground Railroad in Maine,” “Welcoming New Mainers: Exploring Recent Communities of Asylum-Seeking People in Maine and One Town’s Response.”
The lectures are at 1 p.m. Wednesday, and are free and open to the public, sponsored by Sunnybrook Senior Living Community.
