Sebago Lakes Chamber Polar Dip caps off Feed the Need campaign

WINDHAM — The Sebago Lakes Region Chamber of Commerce 2022 Polar Dip in February capped off the annual Feed the Need campaign, which raised more than $25,000 for food pantries in the eight towns the chamber represents — Casco, Gray, Naples, New Gloucester, Raymond, Sebago, Standish and Windham.
The 2022 donation, which included fundraisers last year, was double the 2021 donation. To celebrate, the chamber will kick off Member Outreach Week at 9 a.m. Monday, May 23, at the chamber office with a light breakfast and check presentations to 11 local food pantries.
Other upcoming chamber events include the 22nd annual Sebago Lakes Region Chamber Scholarship Golf Open, which fully funds the chamber’s high school and professional scholarship programs. This year’s open is Thursday, June 9, at Poland Spring Resort in Poland. The registration fee before May 27 is $120 per golfer ($140 beginning May 28).
