KSB names regional VP of residential lending

AUGUSTA – Michelle Richardson has been promoted to regional vice president and senior residential lender at Kennebec Savings Bank, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Craig Garofalo recently announced.
In her new role, Richardson will be responsible for all residential lending at the bank. Richardson joined KSB in 2000 as a loan processor. Before her most recent promotion, she was vice president and director of lending operations and assistant vice president and branch manager of the bank’s Winthrop office.
“Michelle is a wonderful asset to Kennebec Savings Bank,” Garofalo said. “Her professional background covers all aspects of residential lending, and combined with her customer-focused approach to leadership and exceptional customer service, she is the perfect person to fill this position.”
Kennebec Savings Bank President & CEO, Andrew Silsby added, “Michelle is very passionate about leading our residential lending efforts here at the bank and has been deeply involved with it since she started 21 years ago. We are fortunate to have her in this role.”
Richardson said she is pleased to take this next step in her career. “I look forward to taking on a bigger role with the bank’s residential lending team to provide our customers with the expert guidance and personal service they have come to know and trust,” she said.
Kennebec Savings Bank has offices in Augusta, Farmingdale, Freeport, Waterville and Winthrop.
