BETHEL — Bethel Physical Therapy, affiliated with Rumford Hospital, has moved to 32 Parkway, Suite 4. The new site will enhance patients’ experience and provide more opportunities for individualized treatment, according to Central Maine Healthcare.
The new space has a larger ground level area with increased gym space and a private treatment room. It also features an area where patients can be provided with one-on-one treatment in 45-minute intervals, with no overlap of patients.
Bethel Physical Therapy treats orthopedic issues, including neck, upper back and lower back injuries; joint replacements; ankle and foot-related issues; shoulder, knee and hip problems; sports injuries; TMJ; and is now accepting pelvic floor referrals. It also treats neurological issues that cause generalized weakness and impact gait and balance.
Staff includes Susan McCarthy, PT; Ben Ellis, DPT; and Debbie Shorey.
