LEWISTON — Androscoggin Bank has announced the appointment of Dajuan Eubanks to its board of directors. The board, chaired by Paul H. Andersen, is committed to transforming the experience of community banking for the bank’s employees, clients and community partners.
In addition to the Androscoggin Bank appointment, Eubanks is a vice president with the Boston Celtics and serves as president of the Maine Celtics, having been with the organization since its inception in 2009.
In 2019, he helped lead the team’s acquisition by the Celtics. Prior to joining the Maine Celtics, Eubanks worked in the experiential marketing industry for more than 13 years with several leading agencies directly involved with a variety of Fortune 100 companies across the country.
Eubanks is a former player and goodwill ambassador for the Harlem Globetrotters, where he performed extensively around the world with the organization, entertaining thousands of fans.
“The board and the entire Androscoggin team are delighted to gain the benefits of Dajuan’s proven executive leadership and judgment as well as his deep commitment to delivering significant and positive impact to our communities,” said Neil Kiely, Androscoggin CEO.
Eubanks also serves as a member of the board of directors for the Maine State Community Chamber, the Boys and Girls Club of Southern Maine, the Portland Community Chamber, and the USM Foundation. He is a cofounder of Blue Wave Basketball —a youth basketball development program for boys and girls established in Portland in 2011.
“I am honored and excited to be joining the Board of Androscoggin Bank,” he said, “and I look forward to supporting Neil and his entire team on the exciting journey Androscoggin is on as a company.”
