AUGUSTA — Amy Abbott has been named Farmingdale Kennebec Savings Bank branch manager.
Abbott was previously a customer care and loan representative, where she displayed exemplary customer service skills and was able to hone her supervisory skills under Julie Armstrong’s leadership as branch manager, the bank said in a news release.
She joined KSB in 2015 and will now be focusing on residential loan customers as assistant vice president and loan officer.
An involved community member, Abbott was in the Kennebec Leadership Institute Class XXXII and volunteers as a coach and board member in her community soccer program.
“Amy is an outstanding example of KSB’s core values of dedication to teamwork, service, and community. She has been a valuable asset to our Farmingdale branch, and I look forward to seeing her continued success,” said President and CEO Andrew Silsby.
“I am pleased to take this next step in my career with Kennebec Savings Bank,” said Abbott. “I look forward to playing a bigger role at the bank and continuing to assist customers and community members.”
