YARMOUTH — Brentwood Center for Health & Rehabilitation held its second vaccination clinic for residents and employees on Wednesday, Jan. 27.
There was a buzz of excitement in the Brentwood community about taking the next step in fighting COVID-19. One of the center’s dining rooms was turned into a clinic, where a team of three Walgreens professionals administered the shots of the Pfizer vaccine. 100 people got their second dose of the vaccine. Seven staff members received their first dose.
When asked how he felt about the second vaccination clinic coming to Brentwood, Resident Council President Stanley Williams said, “I’m feeling happy. I think it’s a good thing. Anything that can do to move us forward … we’ve got to get it under control.”
Brentwood Center is a skilled nursing facility in Yarmouth that provides short-term rehab, long term care, and Memory Care.
