AUGUSTA — The Kennebec Valley Chamber of Commerce’s Business Expo will be from 2 to 7 p.m. Wednesdsay, Oct. 9, at the Augusta Civic Center.
Admission to the expo is free, and more than 100 businesses and organizations from the greater capital area will be exhibiting and attending to showcase their products and services.
Attendees can compare hundreds of the latest products and services, network and grow their businesses and careers, and even interview for various career opportunities right on the spot. More than $6,000 in prizes are offered to attendees, including a $1,000 cash Grand Prize, and great food and a cash bar are available.
New this year, the Kennebec Valley Chamber in partnership with Townsquare Media Central Maine is hosting three sessions of speed networking. The speed networking sessions are opportunities for participants to grow their businesses and careers at great speed in a fun and fast-paced environment. Sessions will begin at 2:30, 3:30 and 4:30 p.m.
This year’s Business Expo is held in conjunction with the Kennebec Valley Chamber’s Business After Hours from 5 to 7 p.m. to provide even more networking opportunities. Business After Hours is held monthly for KV Chamber members and guests to network with business professionals from the 23 communities the Chamber services.
