TOPSHAM — The Friends of the Topsham Public Library will host their annual book sale from Friday, Sept. 27 to Sunday, Sept. 29 at the library, 25 Foreside Road.
The sale is open to Friends members only from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday. Memberships will be available at the door; the cost of a Friends membership at the individual level is $15, with pricing options also available for seniors, families and businesses.
The sale’s public hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 2 .m. Sunday, when books will be sold by the bag for $5 a bag.
The library will be closed for normal operation during the sale.
All proceeds from the sale, which also includes CDs and DVDs, will sponsor library programming.
Donations of materials will be accepted until Sept. 14; dirty materials, VHS tapes, encyclopedias and textbooks will not be accepted.
