Learn about birds in the library

GARDINER — The Gardiner Public Library Children’s Room is sponsoring a program about birds beginning at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 18. Facilitated by LC Bates Museum, this is a “Tale Time” funded by Crossroads Youth Center through a grant received by the Maine Community Foundation. There will be a hands-on craft to be made, several displays and a presentation about birds.

This program is free and open to the public. Children of all ages are welcomed to attend. The library is located at 152 Water St. One may call 582-6894 for more information about the event and visit www.gwh.org/lcbates/LCBatesMuseum.aspx to learn more about the museum.
