TOPSHAM — The Topsham Public Library will hold a reception in the Crooker Gallery unveiling the annual photography exhibit “The Joy of the Lens,” at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 6.
The exhibition features original photography by year-round Maine residents, both amateur and professional. Prizes will be awarded for color, black and white and Mike’s Theme “Leading Lines” (this category is chosen by the previous year’s People’s Choice winner, Mike Cullivan). Refreshments will be served.
The exhibit will hang in the Crooker Gallery from Tuesday, April 2, through Saturday, May 4. Visitors may vote for their favorite work for the People’s Choice Award, which will be presented at the close of the exhibit at the Photographer’s Talk at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 4.
The reception, exhibition and Photographer’s Talk are free and open to the public.
