Health Affiliates Maine welcomes new human resources manager

AUBURN — Health Affiliates Maine has announced the addition of Michelle Nadeau as human resources manager. Nadeau brings a strong HR background to the Health Affiliates Maine team.

Nadeau graduated from Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec, and earned a bachelor of arts degree in applied human sciences with a focus in human relations. Additionally, Nadeau holds both a Professional in Human Resources and Society Human Resources Management Certified Professional certifications.
“My desire to help others while they achieve their goals led me to human resources,” said Michelle Nadeau. “I am most excited to be a part of Health Affiliates Maine because I am passionate about helping the greater good, and that’s what HAM does. They assist in providing Maine residents access to mental healthcare throughout the state by supporting licensed practitioners and case workers.”
Michelle’s skills include employee relations, communication, recruitment and retention, developing and maintaining policies and procedures, and advising management in guidelines, laws and “best practices.” At Health Affiliates Maine, she will also manage worker’s compensation, compliance monitoring and HRIS system maintenance.
Nadeau has previously worked in human resources in both the labor and restaurant industries and is also a Notary Public.
A statewide agency, Health Affiliates Maine provides services and support to Mainers affected by mental health and substance abuse issues.
